WHAT INSPIRES ME

I am inspired by fashion, editorials, print media, textures and unique lighting. Vintage movies, photos and style have always had a special place in my eyes. I feel like all that is represented in my photography. I’ve always felt drawn to framing life in such a way it rekindles memories the way it felt with an extra layer of something special in a way that feels nostalgic.

I am a firm believer of taking in the moment, whenever I spend time with my loved ones I find myself admiring the scene and just taking the moment in. I like to bring this approach to my photos as well.

I’ve always liked to do things differently. Keeping things fresh really maintains me inspired. I like to try different things. Coming up with creative concepts and experimenting with different techniques and artifacts. Trust me this is the special sauce.

I started experimenting with photography quite young. It all started kind of as a joke with my friends because we decided to take yearbook as an elective. From there the magic of photography captured me. Since then, it all escalated to taking photos in family vacations then all the way to editorials and weddings today.

Professionally I started shooting editorials only,  back then if I’m being honest weddings gave me the ick. It wasn’t until I figured out I could do weddings my way and bring some of my editorial background that I started to enjoy them and now they’re one off my favorite things to shoot.
